چکیده
Abstract In this study, the photocatalytic degradation of Methylene Blue was investigated using CdSe nanoparticles. nanoparticles were synthesized via a simple method and characterized by FTIR, XRD, FESEM, BET, DRS EDS techniques. The performance optimized Response Surface Methodology (RSM) under visible light. independent variables involved initial pH, MB concentration, photocatalyst dosage, irradiation time evaluated optimum photodegradation efficiency dye removal achieved ˜ 92.80% at pH = 8, 20 mgL −1 0.02 g 50 mL min time. Also, is obeyed pseudo-first-order kinetic model (k 0.038 ). thermodynamic results revealed that spontaneous endothermic. evaluation various scavengers confirmed mainly done photogenerated holes hydroxyl radicals.

Sol-gel process was chosen to produce a photocatalytic film to degrade methylene blue. In order to study structural and morphological properties of the coatings, a base sol of TTIP, I-PrOH, and DEA was prepared. Then with addition of 45g/L PEG 2000, 30g/L TiO2 and 15g/L PEG 2000 + 30g/L TiO2, to the base sol, three other sols were produced. The results of this study indica...
